If you’re moving to remote instruction because of COVID-19, or even planning for the possibility, OLI may be able to help.

Consultations and Low-cost Materials for Institutions Affected by COVID-19

Moving a course online is hard, but uncertainty about your transition is harder; we at OLI are helping a number of universities, including our own colleagues at Carnegie Mellon, make the transition — we know just how challenging it is.

In light of the dramatic impact COVID-19 is having on education, we’re focusing our efforts on supporting affected institutions. Our OER courseware combines interactive textbooks with learning activities, assessments, and rich simulations. The materials are organized into units and modules that are aligned to learning objectives, so you can select OLI content to match your needs and plug it in to your learning management system.

OLI bridges some of the distance in remote teaching by providing learning analytics you can use to identify and address your students’ misconceptions. To complement these analytics, our courses incorporate metacognitive activities that ask students to assess their own learning and to share out their muddiest points.

Use the resources below to help you make decisions about using OLI, get support, and learn more.
