It has been an eventful year for the Open Learning Initiative, with record enrollments, expanded technical affordances, and extensive course development to create new courses and improve existing materials. Next year is shaping up to be even more exciting.

At 1pm EST on Friday, November 11, we’re hosting the first of what will an ongoing, regular series of webinar presentations for the greater OLI community. During this meeting, we’ll be providing updates on:

-Current system status
-The past year: courses, enrollments, and projects
-New technology
-The OLI team and structure

In addition, we’ll be talking about plans for the future. Based on discussions with all of you, we’ve put together a technology road map for the upcoming academic year; we’ll be sharing these plans and soliciting your feedback. We’ll also talk about new perspective projects and longer term plans for OLI. One important part of this discussion will be a larger conversation around ensuring that we can sustain the work of OLI over the long term.
