OLI remains very low-cost, with most instructor-led courses priced at $20 – 25. As a member of the non-profit educational community, OLI stands committed to our mission of providing effective, open online educational materials and tools.
A modest per-student fee helps sustain that mission. It also enables other educators and institutions who want to build their own effective online materials using the OLI methodology. Open & Free courses remain free for independent learners who use them outside of a formal school setting.
